Spring 2020
Making social inferences requires a person to "read between the lines". This means taking in the facial expressions, gestures, and what's happening around you to figure out a person's message or how they may be feeling. Positive relationships with peers and adults requires that students be able to understand these different things. The following exercises require students to think about facial expressions, especially the eyes, what is happening in the video, and the verbal message all at the same time.
